 1.         ADMINISTRATION

 Having worked in the Legislature for 23 years, he was familiar with legislation and the legislative process. 

 Having read virtually all Government Policy papers, many administrative reports and the Head of State’s speeches, he was familiar with the overall national policy of development administration, national integration, as well as Rigour, Integrity and Moralization.

 When working in the Public Service and Prime Minister’s Office, he controlled, supervised and managed staff of all grades.

 His experience in over 30 International Conferences in various parts of the world gave him a diplomatic touch, as well as a broad outlook on international relations.

  2.         SOCIO-CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT

 His study of Literature and Linguistics gave him a solid foundation to social and cross-cultural development – hence his concern for academic and multi-cultural development.

 3.         ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

 In the then Ministry of Finance in Buea, he carried out and supervised revenue collection, control of expenditure and budgeting. He studied progress reports on Corporations like the Cameroon Development Corporation (C.D.C.) Development Agency, Powercam (present AES-SONEL), etc.

As Secretary General to the Prime Minister, he was involved in policy and implementation of economic projects – Agriculture, Co-operatives, Community Development, Road Communications, Resettlement Schemes, etc.

 In Territorial Administration, he studied socio-economic reports of Governors and Senior Divisional Officers of all the Provinces (present Regions). This gave him an overall view of National Development.

He was a seasoned administrator and knowledgeable insider who brought his fair contribution to Cameroon politics and administration.
