Robert Akonji Great Brother -In -law September 19, 2017

Daddy, as I used to call you, “In God alone there is rest for my soul. From Him comes my safety. He alone is my rock, my safety, my stronghold so that I stand unshaken.” PS 62, 1-2.

Some how, we are grateful that you are at perpetual rest from the hard and fruitful labor for the benefit of the family and the entire community. Your endeavors in educating, sharing and laboring while   always smiling, is testimony of who you were. Though it is now the past, your footprints are there. Surely we will miss you like others.

God is merciful. We know you knew it. You were not the first to come and will not be the last to go. May we say you made a tenacious life.

Your kindness was boundless. You made sure you had a kind word for everybody and everything had to be just right. You proved it over the years of your life facing multitudes of obstacles and never gave-up.

If there is a price for a model Father and brother in law, you would surely have earned it but like it is said; Good things don’t last forever” so it is with you on earth. But surely you are having everlasting life with the Angels.

Leah, Robert Jr. and McFibert  were expecting You and Mama back this year, so we could all enjoy their basketball games again, as we did last year, but there is a reason why that did not happen.

Do us a favor. Extend our love and greetings to our Sister Eli, Uncle Tom, Edwin, and all the departed family members. No one may “bandage a hand without a wound”. Though there is medical bandage in quantum that could not spare you for a moment.  May your death give us the courage to always forgive one another with love. We will do what is right and trust in God.

MAY THE ALMIGHTY GOD GRANT YOU ETERNAL LIFE AND PEACE.

Daniel Korondo Mr. September 19, 2017
Daddy will be very missed by the many he has left behind. However he lived a God fearing life and is going to pave the way for a better place for us all. Go in peace until we all meet to part no more. Adieu Daddy.

Jackai Musonge My Very Sincere Condolences September 19, 2017
To the entire Atogho family and especially to Jessie and Ata who I know personally, please accept my very sincere condolences. I know how difficult it is for you right now and having lost my Mother in the US in October 2011, I share and can very much imagine the memories and emotions going through each of your minds right now.

I just read Pa Atogho's biography and what struck me the most was that despite all of his many achievements, he remained humble and the greatness of a man is also reflected in the upbringing and achievements of his children and without a doubt, Pa Atogho did an excellent job in that regard. May the Grace of God Almighty strengthen and comfort each of you. Over time, the wounds of grief will gradually heal even though the healing may not be 100% complete. By the Grace of God Almighty, we believe that Pa Atogho is in a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Andongma Alice Njweng Special Friend to daddy. September 19, 2017
I am honoured and blessed to have known Daddy. I found love and humility in the great man he was. A good heart has stopped beating, a good soul ascended to heaven. Saying goodbye to Daddy is heartbreaking and we part with our beloved Daddy in great pain. May his gentle soul be at peace with our Heavenly father.

I know for certain that we  never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. They walk beside us everyday, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear. Gone from our sight, but never our memories; gone from our touch, but never ours hearts.

"For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in christ." Colossians 2:5.

Please do not hesitate to reach out, especially during this dificult time. Know that I am here for you.
